Lemon juice ☀liquid sunshine ☀

Make an easy lemon rinse with just two ingredients. Use it on problem areas in the morning as a simple, refreshing treatment or a nice way to end the day.

Lemon is high in Vitamin C, with lots of great benefits to encourage healthy skin. It has astringent properties, making it especially great for oily skin.

Use diluted lemon juice on blackheads, acne, dark scars & age spots.
Leave on overnight and rinse in the morning.
Lemon juice is acidic and can sting a little on sensitive skin, so start with a concentration of 1:1 water and lemon juice. Increase lemon juice if your skin can take it.

Excessive use can dry skin, so 2-4 times a week is good.
Avoid heavy sun exposure immediately after, as lemon juice can temporarily increase risk of sunburn.

Matcha Green Tea Mask

Mmmm matcha afternoons.
Matcha is a quality green tea from Japan, one of the world’s finest teas. The benefits of matcha go far beyond your teacup!

It is extremely rich in chlorophyll and antioxidants (higher than many superfoods), and is effective for detoxing, healing and reducing inflammation.

Matcha is also antibacterial which is great for fighting and treating acne and eczema irritation. Its UV resisting properties make it excellent for fighting signs of premature aging and blocking UV damage.

Mix matcha powder with yogurt of choice, coconut oil or even water for an age fighting, skin firming mask. Leave on 10-15 minutes and rinse.
We use real matcha powder in our Matcha Ginger Fresh Mask mix, combining it with ginger, coconut milk and burdock root. Use our Fresh Mask mix to make a mask or sprinkle in your bath for whole body goodness. Find it on SimplecareProducts.com Some matcha mix contains added ingredients – for best results, use pure matcha powder.

Matcha Ginger Fresh Mask Mix is made with real green tea matcha powder, finely ground so that nutrients are easily absorbed.  Paired with coconut milk, burdock root and ginger.

Tomato for Skin

The beautiful ●tomato●.

This sweet little nugget of fruit has so many skin benefits, you won’t believe it! Starting with Vitamins A, C, and K, it also is high in lycopene which helps the body naturally resist UV damage.
It is a wonderful anti-aging ingredient that helps reduce cellular damage and is full of antioxidants that keep skin strong.

Acidity in tomatoes helps kill acne and tomatoes can also help shrink pores. Using tomato can be helpful for oily skin because it is naturally astringent and can help balance skin pH levels.

Easy ways to use tomato:
Soak cotton ball in tomato juice and rub on face. Leave 15 minutes and rinse. You can also mash tomato pulp (mix with yogurt if desired) and apply to face – a bit more messy – leave on up to one hour and rinse away.
Do regularly for results!

Tomato juice and pulp can also be very helpful for relieving pain and redness from sunburns. ☆★☆
